Mondays Homework 7/2/2020

Today we created a personal Ecomap during group. 

This eco map provided a picture of the systems that impact your life, including; family, friends, work, school, health care, and hobbies. The goal is to understand the system in your life to then assess where boundaries are needed. 

This is only one example of what an Ecomap can look like.


Homework: from Monday until Wednesday
1. Be aware of what parts of your ecomap you engaged with (for example: seeing your partner or kids)
2. Reflect/Journal on how that interaction went, how did you feel after? (for example: drained or energized)
3. Reflect/Journal on how your communication was? (example: were you passive, aggressive, or assertive. Did you use I-Statements?)
4. Did you notice any areas your boundaries were crossed? (examples: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Sexual, Material, & Time Boundaries) 

Be MINDFUL. This will help in answering these questions. 

We will discuss this homework in the group on Wednesday.
